I starting my Yoga training with a 200 hour vinyasa course, which was based around the Ashtanga 8 limbs, and the 6 types of yoga. We delved into some key scared texts like the Bhagavad Gita and Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras. Since my initial training, I have also under gone a further 50 hours of Bhakti (yoga of devotion) and Tantra (yoga of the senses), 25 hours of anatomy and alignment, and I am currently studying yoga therapy for anxiety.
I have a deep passion for yoga and the profound effects it has on our mental and physical health and wellbeing. Through my classes and workshops, I aim to share yogic tools and help people reconnect with them selves, and aid their journey to a happier and healthier body and mind.
My main inspiration for my classes is life! In all its glory, the “good” the “bad”, the “positive” and the “negative”. I teach honestly, with heart and soul. My classes are a unique blend of asana (poses), pranayama (breath work), meditation, mantra (chanting), mudra (hand gesture), stories and poems. It is my intention, that my students will end their practice feeling relaxed, empowered and inspired.
