Everything contains Yin and Yang. They are two opposite yet complementary energies. Although they are opposite in their individual qualities, Yin and Yang cannot exist without the other. Yin Yang Yoga uses this principle by working through dynamic, warming sequences (YANG) as well as passive, longer held poses (YIN).
